Happiness
No matter how stressed out I am at the end of the day, this boy right here always manages to make the day better. Best smile around.

Pit Stop in Albany, New York
On the way back home on Friday we stopped in Albany. We had lunch at one of Matt's favorite places in Albany, Bombers Burrito Bar. It was a bit surreal heading back to the college town we met and hung out in, now 8 years later with our 6 year old daughter and 8 month old son.
This was Matt and myself back in Albany at Bombers many years ago.

This is now.

After lunch we went over to Washington Park.

Natural Stone Bridge & Caves
Lake George Village
We drove down to Lake George Village a few times during our visit.
Here we are by the beach at Shepard's Park. Louis was fast asleep.

Matt took Leah to play mini-golf for the first time. Meanwhile Louis spent the time standing at all the benches.

My family of pirates

We were on vacation so I let Louis try some things I normally wouldn't be okay with.
Louis chowing down on a french fry at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery.

Louis trying out a Mango Hawaiian Shaved Ice.

He wasn't sure what he should do with it but after a spoonful or two he seemed to like it enough to want some more. He had a few more and then his lips went numb.

Prospect Mountain 2010
After spending the afternoon in Lake George Village we took the drive up the Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Highway to the 2,021-foot mountain summit with a 100-mile view at its peak. It was a beautiful day and the views were spectacular. You can hike the mountain or drive up to the summit.
There are three overlooks to stop at on the drive up to the summit.
This is the view from the first stop.

We took a shuttle up to the summit.
