I can do it!

Louis is all about feeding himself. I am not surprised by this. I've followed a pretty much child directed approach *baby led weaning* to eating solids from day one with my children. This seems to lead to children to really like to do things for themselves foodwise. Also I think it makes for less picky eaters.

I noticed he allows others to feed him but me? It is always nearly a battle-unless he's nursing-in which case it is all good with him.

I made him and served him a bowl filled with steel-cut oatmeal. He did a great job of finishing it off all on his own. A bit of a mess but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
