Louis's 2nd Halloween

Halloween this year was a lot of fun. Louis had a great time dressing up and going out to trick or treat. I wasn't sure if he would understand any of it but it isn't a difficult concept to get right? We visited our old neighborhood and as we've done every year for the past 7 years went out trick or treating with our former landlord and now good friends. Louis LOVED Julia.

Leah had picked out her costume last month and when the time came for Louis to choose his he decided to be a devil just like Leah. They looked so cute together.









After our round of trick or treating we stopped by the grandparents' house to say hi. Louis was asleep by the time we got there. He slept while we took Leah for another go around in the neighborhood.


We aren't big on candy eating or really any sweets in the house but the kids did enjoy seeing all they collected.




We were discussing Nestle and the issues with the company regarding their candy, ethics etc. Louis clearly wanted no part in it as he was hoarding the Kit Kat bars. I'll keep working on him.
