The Count's Halloween Spooktacular!

We visited Sesame Place again. We had some rain check tickets from our last trip and a free extended weekend due to the schools being closed for Columbus Day. It was a chilly fall morning and there was rain in the forecast. This didn't change our plans--we made sure pack extra warm clothes and ponchos from our last trip to Niagara Falls. Having already been to Sesame Place earlier in the summer Louis was very excited about going back. While he took some time to warm up to the idea of seeing all the characters on our last visit, this time he was over the top excited. He was looking forward to all the Halloween costumes and decorations.

There were Halloween themed decorations, along with characters in costumes, various Trick or Treating stations set up around the park with all kinds of treats.

At the Halloween Elmo's World Show--it started to rain a bit so the timing of the show was perfect.

The characters were out even though it was raining.
Louis had no qualms about meeting them this time around.

Louis' favorite ride

A favorite for everyone was the Countdown to Halloween Show. It had the kids laughing, dancing, singing and clapping.

We wrapped up the day with the Neighborhood Street Party Halloween Parade. This was what Louis was most looking forward to. On our last visit to Sesame Place he didn't get to see the entire parade.

Louis collected leaves (which he does all the time now, no matter where we are).

After the parade we headed to our hotel. We picked up some dinner and spent the rest of the night relaxing in our hotel room. Louis didn't stop talking about how much fun Sesame Place was.
