For our last day in Toronto we tried to get in as much time for the kids to enjoy the trip as possible and just enjoy being kids. The Ontario Science Centre was the perfect start to our day. Louis loved the circus exhibit they had. He especially enjoyed a models of what different animal dung looks like. It was a model of the dung & you had to guess what dung belonged to each animal. So basically he played with poop for 20 minutes.
Louis loved the KidSpark play area. It was large with many different activities.
Louis thought these large lego type blocks were the neatest thing ever. |

Overall the visit to the Ontario Science Centre was a good fit for all the kids, with something for everyone to do and learn from.
Day Six: Centre Island
The rest of the day we spent heading over to Centre Island. It was a bit of a wait for the ferry there as it was Labor Day weekend and many people were heading to the Toronto Islands for the day.
We walked over to the splashpad and wading pools, changed the kids into their swimwear and off they went. Louis was so happy to get into the sprinklers.

Louis fell in love with Toronto. From the beginning he thought it was the neatest thing ever (his words) that we were going to another country. Even if he doesn't understand what a country is--he was excited. Toronto did not disappoint him. From the beginning to the end of the trip he was a happy boy. Even though he's not even 3 I can see this trip sticking with him years down the line. Maybe not on the forefront of his memories but I don't doubt it had an impact on him.
